Mariachi is a traditional Mexican musical band composed of trumpets, violins, guitars, guitarrones (a Mexican adaptation of the bass), vihuelas (Mexican adaptation of the lute) and can even include harp. The special music generated by this type of orchestra usually adorn religious ceremonies such as baptisms and weddings, as well as patriotic celebrations and even funerals, as it is part of the irreverent veneration that Mexicans have to death, so for many, it is an illusion that certain favorite musical themes are played during his funeral by a mariachi.
